FIELD CLUB OF OMAHA

Settled in the heart of Midtown, Field Club of Omaha is as storied as the city itself.  Originally the Omaha Cricket Association, the Club was founded as a reprieve from daily life at the turn of the 19th Century.  In the nearly 125 years since it's founding many things have changed; however the sense of community and dedication to relaxation remain the same.

While our history is something to be proud of, today you'll find a club that embraces the mantra, 'Where Tradition Meets Modern.'  The warm hospitality the club has long been known for, combined with a proud membership and professional staff create an unparalleled experience making Field Club memorable for members and guests alike.

Thanks for your interest in Field Club, we're glad you're here.

Where Tradition Meets Modern

Field Club is situated on its original land, establishing it as one of the oldest clubs west of the Mississippi River and the oldest in Nebraska.  The Club’s origins date back to 1898, becoming an early Omaha employer and one of the oldest Omaha businesses still in operation.

Spring of 1901 brought the construction of the original clubhouse along with the development of a nine-hole golf course and the Club’s namesake cricket fields.   Soon after, additional amenities were added including nine more golf holes, tennis courts, bowling alley, and a baseball diamond complete with a grandstand.  The course design dates back to 1902 with several of the original green still in play today.

Walk the same fairways played by golfing greats such as Bobby Jones and U.S. Open Champion / Field Club Member, Johnny Goodman.
